Today I’ve sat outside in a chair, every now and again I’ve picked up a space and dug. I also cleared a spot by the side of the house, laid a slab and some house bricks to put our wheelie bin on. Also did a bit of weeding. Starting to build up the weeds and soil to make a new lawn addition at the side of the garden, so that I have less to dig each year.

Hopefully to get back to digging and styling the back garden. I dug it all last year, but it needs it again, so I can flatten it, I also buried a lot of plants and weeds there to get rid of it all, so it needs digging for that.

Then one side will become another lawn and the other will be slabbed over so I can create an area for us to sit and BBQ etc. That of course if this week is not the only summer we have for the rest of the year.

Very pleased with what I’ve done, but done in my traditional shirking style, with lots of sitting and just a little work. To the annoyance of anyone walking past.
